We're so excited to invite you to our free, family-friendly community events, where swapping gently-used children's clothes, items, toys, and books is easy and just part of the fun. .

Here’s How it Works

1: SWAP DROP DAY

Drop off clothes and toys that your family has outgrown so they can be sorted, ready for the main event. Registration is required and gives you access to Swap Day.

2: SWAP DAY

Enjoy the family fun while picking out new-to-you goodies for your family. Take what you need, there are no limits. Only open to Swap Drop registrants.

3: TOT’S HOUR

All leftover items – usually tots-sized items – are made available at our follow-on Tot’s Hour sessions. No registration is required.

Both the Swap Drop Day and the Swap Day are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family with activities for kids.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Wee Swap is a circular exchange programme so we only allow registration for those who will take part in the whole programme, attending both the Swap Drop and the Swap Day. In this way we reduce the risk of the programme struggling with too many, or too few, items.
Our Swap programme is popular so registration is required. Your registration and attendance at one of the Swap Drop Days automatically registers you for the Swap Day.
We completely understand that not everyone is in a position to give items in advance. Tot’s Hour is open to everyone, no registration required and it’s a take-away event only. Come along, fill your bags and know that by taking these items home and giving them new lives, you are doing us (and the planet) a favour.
Yes! We firmly believe that children are at the heart of The Wee Swap, and we want them to feel involved and excited! That's why we offer creative activities specifically for kids on both our Swap Drop days and Event day.
Bringing your children along encourages their participation in the swap and makes their experience fun and memorable.
